Dr. Lee Lloyd –
Graduated from Western States Chiropractic in 2002, receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic. During her chiropractic education she was an organizer and participant of the Sports Medicine Association. This allowed her to specialize in sports injury management and extremity adjusting techniques.
Before obtaining her chiropractic training, Dr. Lloyd received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in B.C., Canada. During this time she used her Kinesiology background to work in a Rehabilitation Hospital for auto and work injuries. In addition she worked as a personal trainer specializing with clients in need of injury rehabilitation.
Dr. Lee S. Lloyd is Level 3 Active Release Techniques certified, the highest level attainable by an ART practitioner. As an ART provider, Dr. Lloyd has volunteered at various Ironman Triathalon events providing care and fine tuning for athletes prior to their events. Dr. Lee Lloyd also relies on Graston Technique to help provide her patients with ultimate relief and healing.
Dr. Lloyd comes to Hood River from Seattle, WA where she had a busy and varied practice. Her past patient experience includes a variety of work injuries, whiplash injuries, competitive athletes, repetitive stress injuries and chronic pain. She has moved to Hood River to enjoy the multitude of outdoor activities that she enjoys such as mountain biking, road cycling, swimming, hiking, running and learning to kiteboard and windsurf.
